In regards to the question about Austin Riley and the Braves: Riley reported is set to miss a significant part of the season with an injury. That is the reason he hasn’t been playing the last week or so.
There is little to no chance of Riley making it to Atlanta this season.

Alsp, Riley has shown a propensity for racking up some K’s at every level he’s stopped at; however, he’s also shown that he can hit for a .300 average with 20+HR power, and adequate/improving defense at 3rd..
He’s always been a slow starter at each stop he’s had, BUT then he makes the necessary adjustments and just continues to mash. I don’t expect anything less when he eventually gets back to AAA…
I think the Braves could handle Riley with care this season, trade Fried plus a smaller piece or two for Moustakas, and then bring Riley up next season..
