#1, 2, 6 and 23 prospects in the Brewers system sounds about right for DeGrom to me. He won’t be cheap nor should he be.

Swap out Hiura and Burnes and put in Santana and another prospect outside the top 10 and I’ll accept it
Phattey
I second this, y’all can have chacin too

I have to assume your post is meant as a joke, but unless that other prospect is Yelich, you can stop dreaming about DeGrom in a Brewers’ jersey now. There is no way Santana and Ray are the headliners in a potential DeGrom trade.

I’d give that package to the Mets. Huira is the only one I care about. Burnes hasn’t been great this year and we are not short starting pitching. Ray isn’t great and zach is just ok. I like every prospect a lot but two full years after this year where we could actually win the World Series would be great

Infield Shift- when you say phrases multiple times like “I think” and “seems to me”, it really is just YOUR opinion. “I think”(me), it’s a stupid article written by someone that is currently wearing pajamas that his aunt gave him at Easter.

While I dont like the idea of trading Boyd, cudos to Motor City Bengals for listing potential targets that are not household names, and even looking at a trade proposal put forth by Mariners fans.

To get someone like DeGrom it is going to be very costly. The Brewers have a really nice team right now and DeGrom could be the difference. I really don’t see the Mets dealing with the Yankees so the Brewers could sweep in and get DeGrom. Prospects are just that prospects and while it hurts to watch prospects go you don’t get a chance to win very often and DeGrom is a difference maker.

if the brewers make this move, I think they win the central over the cubs.

If we didn’t need a 2B so much I’d be more alright with losing Hiura. If we can get Merrifield and Degrom I’d be happier. Unlike other teams we don’t need bullpen upgrades so if we focused on those instead and called up Nottingham we could maybe win the pennant, because pitching, especially bullpen pitching, wins the playoff series.
