Hey Jeff, you know how I’m biggest Mark Reynolds’ fan here. I think he’s criminally underrated and kept seeing questions asking about Rockies’ need for a First Baseman.
Do you think Rockies regret not re-signing Mark Reynolds, who has two 2 HR games this season, 4 HR in 18AB’s, and batting .478 (11-for-23) with .520 OBP, and 1.043 SLG. What Coors’ splits? Lol
Reynolds, like Lind, had to settle for a minor league pact.
Thank you again for all that you do!

Reynolds, if you have really followed him at all, has always had small bursts and then settle into mediocre. I don’t care what stat you look at he is not much more than a fill-in piece and often less.
He had one good season in which he slashed 260/349/573 and stall managed to set the single season K record. Living in AZ I got to see him deflated the team, and fans while corkscrewing himself in the ground and creating wind storms with men on base. His initial season wasn’t bad but that can be said about many mediocre players.
And yea…he did have a sizable Coors field split. 52 points in BA, 81 OBP, 192 SLG and 21 HR to 9 with a difference of 7 PA
I would really love to know how he is criminally underrated?

I used to have a “real job” and did not enjoy it. I am an employee on a salary, own a house, travel and do all sorts of things with my family, etc.
If you need a “real job” and wasteful spending to make yourself feel good, I feel sorry for ya!
Do what makes you feel good, folks. Try to be a good citizen and contribute where you can. But don’t be a sucker!
10 thumbs up….sound advise Jeff.

I’m obviously not a Gm lol but I have to say, there was one offer for Manny from the cards- Flaherty, Gyorko and Gomber…lol I mean Flaherty alone is to much…is it 5 or 6 years of control of a possible #1 starter, Gyorko a guy hitting over .300 and was a top defense third baseman last year with I think 2 or 3 years of control;plus Gomber who is a promising Lefty that if he doesn’t make it as a starter could definitely be a nice lefty specialist out if the Bullpen…for 2-3 months of MM…then the another offer from the Cubs that was lead off by Baez…i won’t go into Montgomery or another prospect because Baez alone is worth more than 2-3 months of MM…seriously people
