I’ll tell you what I am really getting tired of Dylan betences. The guy is good when there is no pressure like tonight but if it’s a close game against a good team forget it. This guy doesn’t need a pitching coach he needs a good psychiatrist in my opinion. The guy has to be off mentally all the sudden he can’t throw strikes no more and forget holding runners on might as well just give them third base and save ourselves the embarrassment.

“This guy doesn’t need a pitching coach he needs a good psychiatrist in my opinion. The guy has to be off mentally . . . “
You speak with what authority here, Doctor? Questioning a player’s performance is always fair game. But suggesting that poor performance is due to mental illness is beyond the pale. You should be ashamed and your comment should be deleted.
Also, why post that comment in this thread?

Chill out. You are freaking out over a comment is just as bad as his ignorant comment. Holy smokes.

He wasn’t saying he has a mental illness you mor on stop being such a sensitive whiny twerp who gets offended at everything.
A lot of baseball players say Baseball is more mental than it is physical and it happens where players get mentally thrown off and need to work at their craft to get them better build their confidence up. Happens all the time
Ever heard of the yips? Probably not because clearly you don’t know jack about baseball and just like to cry about a simple comment that in no way was wrong or offensive.
Grow up

“He wasn’t saying he has a mental illness . . .”
“He needs a good psychiatrist . . .”
Yeah, that’s exactly what he was saying. Not a sports psychologist or other professional who specializes in the mental aspect of the game, this player needs a shrink.
“Ever heard of the yips?”
Yeah, read Steve Blass book about it. Saw Mackey Sasser go through it. You?
“Clearly you don’t know jack about baseball and just like to cry about a single comment . . . “
Whatever you say, chief.
“ . . . that in no way was wrong or offensive. “
That’s the point in dispute. Your conclusory statement advances the discussion not one iota.
“Grow up.”
Now that’s funny. Your post is a continuous stream of fact-free personal attacks and you have the stones to tell someone else to grow up?
“You mor on”(Sic)
“Sensitive whiny twerp”
“Don’t know jack about baseball”
“Like to cry about a simple comment”
“Grow up”
Grow up, indeed. Too bad this place doesn’t do verification like Twitter. Got some kids playing in the adult pool.

“He has succumb to pressure on the game’s biggest stage in the most punishing market, therefore he must be mental.”
There’s got to be a metaphor for this relationship…

Jason,
Thank you for all you do on RosterResource and MLBTradeRumors. I took over a rebuilding dynasty team last August and this new addition to MLBTradeRumors is EXTREMELY helpful in a 24 team keeper league. Thank you again!
