Holland
4:27 2/$5M from ATL. Worth it?
Comments like this (and trading Harper before the playoffs) make me wonder if some people are really that out of touch with reality.

Sadly, a lot of those comments come from Braves’ fans…lol..Which really makes the Atlanta fan base seem like a bunch of uninformed, flakey fans.
Even so, I really hope those are just some of the few, outspoken morons. We all know, every fan base has “those fans,” but, especially on this site, several of the ridiculous trade proposals, and quite a few of the signings, with unrealistic, far-fetched salary figures, they tend to come from quite a few of my fellow Braves’ fans…
I plead to you fans, please stop making us Braves fans look bad!! Stop with the ridiculous projections, stop with the unrealistic trade proposals, and just stop with the idiotic madness!! lol..
I can go ahead and tell you..Bryce Harper will never be an Atlanta Brave. Manny Machado will NOT sign with Atlanta next season, and the Braves are not going to even remotely contend until next season, at the very earliest!!

The Braves have a very bright future, but a lot still has to go right for their rebuild to come to an end. Acuña Jr. has to prove he can sustain his success at the ML level, and most importantly, he has to stay healthy for a full season..Ozzy Albies has to continue to improve at the ML level, and continue to hit at the top of the Braves line-up. Swanson has to take some major strides at the plate, and needs to improve defensively, to prove he can be a starting SS at the ML level. Foltynewicz needs to settle down, and stop being such a mental case on the mound. Teheran needs to stop trending in the wrong direction moving forward. Vizcaino needs to lock down the closers job, and Minter needs to prove he can stay healthy over the course of a full season. They need to find and develop two to three more reliable set-up men in their bullpen. Austin Riley and Alex Jackson definitely need to continue taking steps forward to improve their offense and defense, if they are going to be the Braves third baseman and catcher of the future, respectively…Inciarte needs to prove last season wasn’t a fluke at the plate, and show that he’s capable of putting up another season with a solid combination of excellent defense, with good speed, and some decent power. Then, finally, and most importantly, the Braves young starting pitchers are going to have to continue their growth and development. Newcomb, Gohara, Fried, Soroka, Allard, Wright, Toussaint, Wentz, Anderson, and Wilson, they ALL need to continue making adjustments as they climb the ladder, because the odds are some of them will get injured or will not pan out at the ML level. So, a franchise can NEVER have enough quality young pitching…Just ask the Mets about that…
If all of those aforementioned statements come to fruition, AND the Braves make a key move or two via trade, or in free agency, then and only then, the Braves will start to contend…

The questions were pretty weak in this one. I really look forward to the chats for fantasy info that I might not be catching elsewhere. Instead, questions like Holland for 2.5mil a year and trade Harper now. I’m on several Facebook fantasy baseball groups and the questions there can be so ridiculous sometimes, it amazes me.
