Giants signed Jackson as a fourth outfielder. They’ll either go with Duggar or trade for a prearb player. Panik for Lagares was never happening—it was simply suggested by some writer. Lagares makes way more than he’s worth. There are SEVERAL better options

Finally had a question answered. Was starting to think this thing wasn’t working. Or maybe I’ve just been asking terrible questions.

“ChiGuy…….
“Thanks for the Chat Jason! Question: I hear everyday that the ‘Nats are already over the Cap. Your site(Roster Resource) as well as every place else I have looked have them anywhere from $173MM-$182MM…… I understand in season flexibility, but $16MM or more under $197MM is not over the cap. Even Steve and Jeff mentioned they were already over the cap. Just wondering, I am trying to keep Jake off of the Nats(LOL).”
I have to wonder if every site takes all things into consideration. It’s not just salary and the medical it’s all of the player benefits from the in season and ST meal and tip allowance to all star game perks.
