Looking for the best possible MLBTR experience on your mobile device? Check out our free Trade Rumors app, available for iOS and Android! Nine of the top ten free agents somehow remain unsigned with less than a month to go until pitchers and catchers report, so there’s a flurry of hot stove action yet to come. The Trade Rumors app allows you to set up custom feeds and notifications for your favorite teams and players and is the perfect way to stay on top of the news.
El Duderino
It’s a slow off-season so I’m always excited when I see a push notification from the Trade Rumors app.
I’m less excited when it’s just the app telling me to download the app.

Is there an El Duderino app where I get a notification whenever El Duderino comments on an MLBTR article?

He’d honestly be top of my list.^

Sorry, I need to stop doing that.

The app, at least on iOS is extremely lacking in features. Here are a few off the top of my head that should be in place.
1) Ability to upvote/downvote comments
2) Notifications when someone replies to your comment
3) Subscribing to posts to become notified when a new comment is posted

Those things would be nice, but comparing development cost to the number of users who would be positively impacted, I’m not sure if/when we’ll do them. But I’ll give it a closer look.

For me.. my biggest priority would be…
I’ve always wanted to say #2 ‘notifications when someone replies to your comments’ but I understand how convoluted, app designing can be.
I’ve accidentally stumbled unto threads with new posts, months late and understand it’s my fault for not subscribing email. Notification of a reply to you via the app, or website, would be huge. You’d borderline have a social media platform. (If it’s not already)
Downvotes/updates on the app would be nice, but not required since it’s already on the website and some people, even express their desire to get rid of votes ( they’re nuts votes is probably most important feature)
Thank you for all that you do. keep doing what you’re doing.

Please do them. Every time I open the app I think about how much we need those.

Also there’s no way to edit comments from the app. Also takes longer for the comments to load, compared to the website

The app runs more effectively if you also subscribe to The Athletic, which I strongly recommend.

The Android app has been unusable

How? Can you email us at traderumorsapp@gmail.com?

Fan of the app on android and the site but why has the NHL site never been added to the app? More importantly, will it ever? Thanks.
jdgoat
The NHL section is on my app. Is yours updated?
pjmcnu
I have that problem, too. Can’t seem to get NHL on my Android app. I think it is updated.

I have been in here for a few years and love the site. There of course are a couple a things I would like to add but they are minor. I think this is one of the best sites of it’s kind on the web. Especially for being a National site.
Sometimes I forget it’s not the dog eat dog site like others and get a little aggressive. This site doesn’t have the trash talking fools on it. I appreciate most of the people on here and that most can take a joke.

Most of my snarky comments are jokes by the way.
