Here at MLB Trade Rumors, we’ve been following the hot stove religiously since 2005. MLB free agents have seen a delayed market that may play out largely in the new year, with players such as Yu Darvish, Jake Arrieta, and Eric Hosmer still looking for homes. For anyone looking to keep tabs on who’s signed and who’s still out there, our tracker for MLB free agents is the best on the Internet. It’s constantly updated and lets you filter by tons of criteria, including team, position, signing status, handedness, qualifying offers, years, amounts, and option types. Check it out today!

You have Derek Norris signing with the Rays, with i believe is wrong
Donnie B
correct, he signed with the Tigers – he signed w/ the Rays last year

Also doesn’t list a team for Otani, though I am sure I heard something about him and the Angels.
sufferforsnakes
Nah, that was Ohtani, not that Otani guy.
CommitmentToExcellence
He was posted. Not technically a free agent.
24TheKid
He’s on the list though.
Omar Gobby
Yes, he was a free agent. Being posted has nothing to do with it. Posting him made him available, in theory, to any team.
The fact that he is not listed is because the deal he signed with the Angels was a Minor League deal
Omar Gobby
The deal Otani signed is a Minor League deal..this is why he does not appear. He is not on the 40 man roster
24TheKid
Not really a big deal, but it says that Shohei Ohtani hasn’t signed yet.

Every time I think of the Flubs giving Iron Head Heyward $188MM it puts a big grin on my face! Heyward is truly a Lake Michigan boat anchor!
cubfanbob
I’ve had a grin on my face since the 100 win stl team of 2015 choked away the playoffs to the upstart Cubs. They then dropped to 2nd in 2016 and 3rd in 2017. Looks like a pattern….4th in 2018. Half of your team is a Mississippi River boat anchor.
tycobb016
big whiff by theo. thought heyward was gonna be special. was just entering his prime and coming off a big offensive year with stl. but no.
cubfanbob
It’s not over yet. Increased by 30 points last year and can actually play defense.
tycobb016
When they got Heyward I thought he would make a decent leadoff hitter in that stacked Cub lineup. He did a good job when he led off in Atlanta i think. He didn’t do it often tho. Cubs have nobody to bat leadoff, why not Heyward. They didn’t sign him to bat seven. Why do I always have to come up with the good ideas?
ChiSoxCity
Heyward can barely hit the ball out of the infield. His at-bats are hard to watch. Rally-killer, toothpick bat, vastly overpaid.
Power: poor
Bat speed: poor
Contact: poor
Discipline: poor
Adaptability: poor

Any chance the market comes back to my Royals regarding Hosmer and Moose?
