The only reason why someone would hope Tim Lincecum returns to the majors is because they don’t like the guy, and enjoy watching him get shelled.

Yeah he’s toast

Once he cut his hair and stopped smoking weed, his pitching went downhill from there. He used to be great.
dimitriinla
I’m sure it was the weed that made him great.

Actually, he lost his fastball a half a year before he started to get hit the following season. You see, the competition struggled in those few months more with his reputation than with his stuff. I told some relatives he was on the way out that offseason. They were in disbelief.. He started to put up pedestrian numbers. He cut his hair long after that. The weed I don’t know about.

Even if in terms of paying what you get for, I just don’t see the Red Sox settling for Danny V. I feel as though with these big teams, it becomes a d*** measuring contest. New York gets BDS, DD is going out and getting Hosmer. You have to please the fan bases.

Click on my blog. I argue that the Nationals would be a poor choice for Yu Darvish.
SundownDevil
Pass. I prefer not to give clicks to blogs. I did read the description though and imagined what the article was like.

Darvish will most likely sign with Angels I bet.

Honestly, I think that the Everything Bluebirds article is somewhat laughable. I can definitely see Markakis being traded to Toronto, but the article exaggerates his value overall. And the “desperate to restock the farm system” part is hilarious, since even though the loss of the international prospects does sting a bit, the Braves still have a strong farm system after their loss.
southi
Yes, while many have speculated about a possible fit for Markakis in Toronto in no way would he fetch very much of a return.

The BaseballDocs blog reminds me of a webpage I created when I was about 16. Man, if that’s all it takes to get linked on a site like MLBTR maybe I ought to be blogging…

I assume the blog regarding Schwaber and the Yanks was written prior to the Stanton trade. Obviously the Yanks wouldn’t have the space for him now.

My God can they stop with the Stanton stories. Bring on the winter meetings
