Legit question for the guys at mlbtr. Is this blog list something from a network of blogs related to mlbtr in some way or how do you decide which links to share with us? A lot of great blogs out there for a lot of teams with great writers that’s not being shared here.. just curious!
We.Need.More.Grit
You can submit your blog or article to MLBTR at ZachBBWI@gmail.com
My guess is whichever is the best, and ties in the most with MLBTR articles are the ones that get featured.

I’m saying there is better content out there that mlbtr could give a hat tip too, and this time if year everyone is talking about the same things so that’s not valid in the least.. so it’s up to the authors to send content to mlbtr? Do you think fangraphs or the athletic email Jeff and Steve?
And do you really think that even if 100 blogs submit entries that you’re getting the best of what’s out there? There are probably writers out there that let their content do the leg work for them I’m just wondering why they choose some of the crap they do to forward to the readers? Add clicks? Favoritism? There is clearly better blog content out there.
astros_fan_84
I’m not sure that it’s MLBTR’s responsibility to cull the internet for articles. If great writing wants to recognized, the writers to make an effort.

Why would they have to explain themselves to you? If you deem other blogs to be better reads, go read them. If you want them to be highlighted by MLBTR, try submitting them to that email. Simple.

Because there is great writing that analytical baseball fans could be missing out on.. I asked a genuine question bros chill out eh? And I’m not knocking the content on mlbtr AT ALL! the stuff from these guys is great I just want to know how it why they choose what they do.. like are sbn blogs a no go or are certain blogs not allowed here because of contractual reasons? Again legit ? A

“Basically I read new articles from about 200 sites each day and write about the hot stove news” quote from Tim himself.. so yes they do scour the jnternet that’s the concept of this place from 2005 on so I’d imagine they see the sites I’m talking about I’m just curious as to why or what gets passed on to the readers.. sorry for asking.. or not.. this world bro geez… just saying all levels of fan and knowledge visit this site and if someone can learn something from a site posted here that they wouldn’t have known before shouldn’t that be a goal? Again not knocking anyone was just curious.. I found out Tim was in his early 20s and went to my hometown school today see learning is fun!

Excellent article link by James Fox regarding the specific players that Hahn would insist on to trade Abreu in case of Cards/Rockies/RSox. Beautiful line about he’s not running a daycare center for Cuban prospects Moncada and Robert if the deal is right.
Priggs89
I’m pretty sure he’s saying exactly what most logical commenters have been saying since day one…
If the right deal comes along, Hahn will make it. If not, he’ll hold onto Abreu for at least a little while longer. Hahn isn’t going to move Abreu just to move him; he’s way too valuable to the team to take anything less than a premium package, which is exactly what the writer is suggesting from the Cards/Rockies/RSox…

Great article by Pirates Breakdown on intentionally teaching pitchers to mess with hitters timing by various means.
Cueto’s proven for years that it works.

Ohtani to the Angels because they can offer him something that other teams can’t. For now that is the opportunity to play on the same team as Mike Trout.
