The Dodgers have designated righty Fabio Castillo for assignment, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group tweets. A 40-man roster spot was needed for the team’s activation of top pitching prospect Walker Buehler.
Castillo, 28, earned his first trip to the majors this year, though he made only two appearances over the weekend. He has spent most of the season pitching in the upper minors, working to a 4.04 ERA with 8.7 K/9 and 3.4 BB/9 over 91 1/3 innings split between Double-A and Triple-A.

That’s kershaw
Well, what does Freidman do about Darvish?
Your forgetting them landing Shohei Otani too……It’s Good To Be The King !
The A’s scouting department might be interested, although Billy Beane might not approve. He doesn’t like the method of talking about players like they’re selling jeans.
True
I thought Fabio had big long blonde hair?
They need to DFA Baez
No way. 3 years of control left of a flamethrower who had 2 bad weeks. Thats too risky. He just wont be the setup man anymore
Exactly ! That quick over the top reaction too a lil rough patch….that terminology bein applied, next time Kersh takes n L, has “off” nite….we should just release em n eat the money…..? Por favor, say it out loud before u type it n share it w/ knowledgeable fans…..

Still think so???
If you want them to give up a 26 year old power relief arm with a 2.57 ERA and a 163 OPS+ who is controlled through 2020, I can think of 29 other fan bases who will gladly take him off your hands.
Who may I add is only in his 4th year as a RP or pitching in general. So what he’s not a set up guy or hasn’t yet developed yet in a lock down reliever
But he’s still valuable. Maybe not a 1-3 on the, but controllable cheap power arm who still has upside they aren’t going to DFA him.
I’ll give up anyone that continues to blow leads and lose games no matter how many years of control left. It’s about winning games, if he can’t do that then sit or release.
Instead of focusing on the last two weeks look at his numbers before the slump!!
Sit him then, send him to AAA
What is he dropping? Is that dirt?
