Championship teams don’t worry about who’s going to win the Cy Young award at the end of August, I guess when you’ve gone this long without winning the title any trophy will do

Just because some internet blog ran article about a silly award like the Cy Young doesn’t mean the team is worried about it one bit. I guess when they’ve gone this long without winning the title no trophy but the championship will do

What actual team is worried about a Cy Young award in August?
All I see is a fans blog which, if you bothered to read it, is written largely to pat the Cleveland hitters on the back for their treating Sale like a batting tee this season.
And why wouldn’t blogs talk about the performances of the top players like that? MLBTR has such a post up at this very moment, pondering who will be the NL MVP
Your post being so off the mark leaves me thinking you’re likely just a bitter Sale fan trying to lash out. Not sure what your point could have possibly been otherwise

Yes I am a Red Sox fan, but I’m far from lashing out, my city has won 10 titles in the last 15 years, Cleveland? Participation trophies only
Michael Birks
I do love your field manager though

Gold star for you and Boston…Don’t need to be a douche with the unsolicited bashing.

Well you’re obviously not talking about the article linked here, and blatantly, randomly trying to attack Cleveland for some odd unknown reason. Add in the fact you don’t seem to have a point at all, and yeah, lashing out is the only thing which fits what you are doing.
As far as your city? Lets just say fans of clubs with 85 year losing streaks hardly have grounds to point fingers at anyone else. But to take it a step further and pitifully try to lash out at a city which holds both the Defending AL Champs and Defending Eastern Champs? When both your Red Sox and Celtics were not only eliminated, but even straight humiliated by said AL and Eastern Champs?

“But with Hurdle yet to sign the extension that is waiting for him, he still has a chance to break free from King Nutting’s clutches.”
The victim mentality of so many Pirates “fans” would be really funny if it wasn’t so sad and PATHETIC.
They literally hate the team because the owner won’t lose money or take it out of his own pocket to subsidize the team. They want the Cubs payroll at AAA ticket prices and cheap beer and if the team owner won’t give it to him, he’s evil.
Angry, entitled, economically illiterate baseball welfare queens.
