Nothing surprises me with Coppy anymore, but I can’t believe the price will be any lower on Archer after a Smyly trade. If nothing else, they’d be signaling to Longoria with a trade of Archer that they’re rebuilding. Sure, they could move Longoria pretty easily, but I can’t see a young GM blowing it all up before the season unless they really see some red flags.
