Trout MVP!? So your telling without Trout this Angel team would be 35 games out of 1st rather than 20??? Okay…. Lolzzzz
HaloShane
Best player award? Sure, give it to Trout. MVP…. No way!
davidcoonce74
So trout is to blame for the whole pitching staff getting hurt and the lack of management to build a team around him. Ok.
HaloShane
Who said that? Not me. You may want to reread my post again clown. Pitching was not even brought up….. Amazing how many clowns assume these days.
Kayrall
MVP is the North American sports universal term for best player. Interpret it however you wish. It could go to the best player in the league or it could go to the best player on the best team or be decided upon completely differently. It is most often reserved for hitters and is most often the hitting equivalent of the Cy Young Award (award for best pitcher). Assuming that the ‘clown’ voters base their decisions on the player that performed best this season, Trout would probably win the award…..
But you already knew that.
HaloShane
MVP is not the term for best player in North American sports. Dead wrong in any major USA sport. Be it NBA, MLB, or NFL…. MVP is for the most valuable player, be it why it’s simply called MVP. It’s really just that simple.

Your comment adds nothing to the conversation, my replies end here.

Name calling certainly helps the discussion
HaloShane
Don’t get made because your wrong Kayrall. Learn from it and become a better smarter person from it.

* mad. * you’re.

haloshane please stop saying lolzzzzz
bluemamba81
NL is better. The al is lucky they have a dh
Kayrall
Very much this.
sevans36
What facts are you basing that off of or is that just your opinion? AL has more World Series titles, one less all star game win and has dominated interleague play since it started.
mkeving
Altuve should be AL MVP
BronxBombers14
Agreed. Altuve is such a good ball player.
skip 2
Yep!!
dbacksrs
Agree.
CursedRangers
I think Altuve has a really good chance. It will also be interesting to see how Ortiz does in the voting.
halos101
as much as I think it should be trout I know he won’t get it cause the Angels stink this year. That being said, altuve is my second pick for al MVP. the guy does everything for a contending team. Altuve or Donaldson will probably end up with it
Jays91
Donaldson should be MVP again! 3 homers today and is heating up even more at the most important time of the season.
CursedRangers
The last month could determine Donaldson’s MVP standing. The thing that is helping him as much as his great #’s is how the Jays have done with Joey Bats being all but a waste of space this season. Donaldson has played a huge role in having the Jays near the top this summer.
BoldyMinnesota
How has Bautista been a waste of space? He’s still well above average lol
CursedRangers
You’re right. He’s been on the DL well above the league average this year.
sdsuphilip
Trout should not be penalized for playing with awful teammates
BoldyMinnesota
Exactly! The “he can’t win mvp because he wasn’t on a winning team” argument is so dumb.
dbacksrs
My favorite player, Goldy, lost to McCutchen in ’13 and then to Harper in ’15, guess why?
chuckn9ne
He lost to Harper because Harper had a one of the best hitting seasons of all time
halos101
as much as he shouldn’t, voters have proven that they will get punished
bigguccisosa300
I’m a Jays fan and i’d LOVE to see JD repeat! That being said I think Altuve deserves it. The guy hits everything.
