Updates horrible
Sam.rhodes16
The new format with all these ads that interfere with the article have nearly ruined this app for me.
If y’all actually read these, please consider re-doing this last update that introduced intrusive ads.

They don’t really care if the add covers the page, more adds means more money
Jeff Todd
Ad revenue is obviously a fact of life since the content is free, as is the app, but it’s not true that we don’t really care about functionality. Feedback always welcome.
Tim Dierkes
I don’t think 1-2 ads per page ruins it. I gotta be frank – just to cover the ongoing development costs, it’s more likely that I will increase the ads from the current level.

Would it be possible to introduce an additional subscription based ad-free app? I’d honestly be willing to pay $1-3 a month just to avoid the ads.
Tim Dierkes
Yes it would, particularly if there is widespread interest in the idea. I fear that you may be in the minority in being willing to pay $12-36 a year though…the concern is that if most people expect to pay 99 cents, once, and then never see an ad. I guess we could just price it where we have to and people will go for it if it’s worth it to them.
Sam.rhodes16
I would drop 20 bucks right now not to see ads for a calendar year without question.

How do you turn notifications off for the other 2 sports without turning off mlb ones?
Tim Dierkes
On the home screen, each feed has a slider icon next to its name. You can tap that to turn off notifications on any of them.

Thanks a lot
