Wow Jerome Williams got signed? I’m amazed.

The Cardinals GM live to sign only “Low Hanging Fruit!” That’s why you see the Cardinals falling behind everyone in their division. They need a new General Manager that would have his sights set higher. One that could negotiate better with free agents, and have a better relationship with other general managers to pull major impact deals before you will ever see the Cards rise in not only the Central Division, but the National
League. The past and present signed players by Walt Jockerty, the minor league development by Jeff Ludlov (sp?), the pitching coaching if Dave Duncan, and the managerial skills of Tony LaRussa is all coming to an abrupt end. It’s very obvious what an impact these men had on the organization, and we took it for granted. Shame on us! Now, we have second and third tiered individuals in these positions. We’ve seen this coming after year after year of the Cards GM stating–“we’ll fill from within the organization and pick up Low Hanging Fruit to fill in for veterans lost to either retirement or free agency. Very frustrating for the Cardinal Fans that pack the stadium, 40,000 every game.
