The following 40-man roster players have less than five years service time and are out of minor league options. That means they must clear waivers before being sent to the minors. I've included players on multiyear deals. This list was compiled through MLBTR's sources. For context on each team's situation, please check out my six-part series.

Franklin is only 23 and has lots of minor league options left, I believe. The M’s don’t have to move him (I wouldn’t), so they are going to have to get pretty good value in a trade.
Scott Parker
Evan Scribner A’s.
Is he an optional waiver situation in April?
UltimateYankeeFan
Both Cervelli and Nova will make the 25 man active roster so them being out of options is not a factor for the Yankees.
LazerTown
Is a factor, because that is why he is the front runner for the backup catcher job. Otherwise Romine could make the roster. Nova it is a non-factor though, he will be in the rotation.
UltimateYankeeFan
That may have been the case to start out with Cervelli, but he’s the front runner right now because of his play. Both on offense and defense.
Dave Guarnieri
Cervelli is playing exceptional baseball. The Yanks, ideally, would trade him solo or include him as part of a package for an infielder. Having 5 catchers on the 40 man roster is not exactly efficient. But as it stands now, there is no way they expose Cervelli to waivers.
Matt Galvin
Half of them will make Opening Day Rosters but still fun for like OTTP and so on.
