- The Royals have agreed to terms with seven players on Major League contracts for 2013, according to a team report. The players set to sign include left-handed pitchers Chris Dwyer, Donnie Joseph, Justin Marks and Everett Teaford, right-handed pitcher Nate Adcock, infielder Irving Falu and outfielder Jarrod Dyson. The move leaves Kansas City with 17 unsigned players on the 40-man roster who are ineligible for arbitration. Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer are the most notable among the remaining 17.
