- The Cardinals have signed Matt Young, reports Brian Walton of TheCardinalNation.com (on Twitter). The Tigers released the 29-year-old last weekend, and he went 2-for-3 with a walk in his first game for St. Louis' Triple-A affiliate yesterday.
