Not sure I understand this. Don’t really need bullpen help, unless it is a sign and trade for Denard Span.
Span is under team control through 2014. There is absolutely no reason that a sign and trade would be necessary.
True, I understand. I just don’t think Broxton is very helpful for Reds. Unless something else is going on behind the scenes.
You can never have enough pitching and he has closing experience. Why not bolster an elite bullpen? Broxton Marshall Chapman can make it a 6 inning game.

I think Giants should go after broxton to address our bullpen need. We just got pence, and seeing our bullpen blow the lead last night, something needs to happen

Can someone explain why everyone wants Broxton? His ERA is better-than-average for a reliever, but his WHIP and K/9 seem unremarkable. I’m not being smug, I really don’t know what it is that makes teams covet him. Someone enlighten me?
