As for the biggest name? I still think JJ is going to get moved and headed to Texas for a large haul.
I honestly see Cliff Lee getting moved to the Dodgers or Diamondbacks. I certainly see Josh Johnson moving as well.
Lee could get moved as well my friend, no doubt about it. I still think Philly will have to pay a large chunk of his 2013-15 salary to do so. 75m, plus just the 12.5m buyout on 2015 is too much for any pitcher who will be 34YO next season and not even giving anything for them in exchange.
It makes it more intriguing, though, as we could see a bad salary or two thrown into the trade to facilitate it. It opens up a whole new variety of options besides simply dealing prospects for a major leaguer.

Probably shouldn’t have expected stuff to happen in the 3-6am range, that’s more of a winter meetings thing. I don’t know how many actual deals will happen, but trust me things will be active today!
