Watching MLB Network and refreshing MLBTradeRumors. Gotta love the trade deadline!
Same here while also trying to pack for the Olympics, awesome time for me!
july 31st > december 24th
Because July 31st is Christmas Day!
Fantastic trade!!!!
Could be a nice trade if gabby bounces back
Snider and Sanchez is tremendous for Pittsburgh. Still young, can bounce back.
Pirates stocking up the young talent. Regardless whiter they are AAAA or not.
Change of scenery could really help him. I think this move will help the Pirates a lot.
Nice buy-low pickup for the Bucs. Marlins fans will love Gorkys Hernandez’s glove in the OF. Can’t hit a lick, but he can flat out MOTOR in the field.
Well, I like this a lot more than my idea of grabbing Carlos Lee for bench depth.
Great trade by the pirates. How could AA not get Sanchez?
I think Sanchez could do well in Pit. Change of scenery could really help his power swing
Everything must go! Next up: Ozzie Guillen!!!
I would rather have the competitive balance pick.
Pirates already have 2 first rounders. It was expendable
Three is better than two.
No not Gorkys
I like this for Pittsburgh, i wanna see them in the playoffs!
Very interesting, hoping he can bounce back. He is older than I thought, but if he can play like he did last year then that’d be great.
I remember during the offseason with the rumors of Pujols signing with the Marlins, I was drooling at the idea of the Pirates making a move for Sanchez. While he clearly hasn’t had the year I expected, I still love this deal.
You see this, MLB? You allow teams to trade picks and immediately they put them to good use. Hopefully this will be expanded to all picks, soon.
Love what Neil is doing at the deadline. Getting established ML guys who are struggling but with a change of scenery they could flourish. I could see McGhee going to Yankees for defensive help since Gaby will now platoon with Jones. Another great deal
