Ten years ago today, Major League Baseball played its first ever game in Puerto Rico. The Blue Jays beat the Rangers by the score of 8-1 in front of a crowd of just under 20,000 at Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Alex Rodriguez had two hits in his first game with Texas after signing his landmark ten-year, $252MM contract, but he also committed an error on his first defensive chance.

Haha, Yeah i think it is fair to say at this point to say that Peavy is not panning out so far. Let call this a conditionally failed trade. If he can become effective again at the very least the trade could become an even one, but the White Sox will not win this one. That being said, in similar circumstances I wouldnt mind seeing a trade like this happen again, but I would prefer a few draft picks to pan out for us instead.

I have a feeling Aaron Crow will be just fine. He looked dominating against the Angels yesterday. Yes, it’s an incredibly small sample size but it’s encouraging seeing him look so sharp in his ML debut.
