The Royals have returned Rule 5 Draft pick Robert Fish to the Angels according to Bob Dutton of The Kansas City Star (on Twitter). The Yankees originally selected the left-hander in the Rule 5, but the Royals claimed him off waivers earlier this month.
Fish, 23, allowed nine runs in 7 2/3 innings between both Kansas City and New York this spring. He's struck out 9.1 batters per nine innings in his minor league career (365 2/3 innings), but he's also walked 4.2 per nine. Fish shifted to relief full-time last season, though he has only one career appearance above Double-A.
Sounds suspicious…
How? There has been about a million of these this week.
Suspicious as in “fishy”. The humor was in the subtlety.
Angels deserve all water-based living creatures: Salmon, Trout, Fish, etc.
Vernon WELLS
I don’t GET IT?
Fish live in wells I guess. Thats a dirty well however.
Maybe in livewells, like the kind you keep fish in temporarily, or something, but that’s a stretch.
He was in Mad Max 2!
Vernon Wells or Robert Fish?
Yes.
Rornon, the Vernon Fish Pokemon. Moves at great speeds through the water, but as soon as it gets on land all it can do is eat money.

Well done.
Now Fish will be reunited with Mike Trout…
I thought the Royals had caught themselves a keeper in Fish, but I guess not as they threw him back…
Mine was a stretch, but yours worked beautifully. My hat is off to you.
You know, Missouri has a catch and release policy. KC is in Missouri. They had to do the right thing.
Wish they would send Adcock back too.
Fish should go to the Marlins
