By 11pm central time tonight, we'll have arbitration offer decisions on 65 Type A or B free agents. MLB Trade Rumors has created an awesome tool to help you keep track of everything in real-time: our new Free Agent Arbitration Offer Tracker.
You can filter the decisions by team and whether the player was offered arbitration, or both, with the "Filter" button. In the "Offered" column, the word "Yes" or "No" is linked to the source story. We will be updating the tracker constantly throughout the day, so be sure to bookmark and refresh. Enjoy!
Why are they sorted by first name?
Alphabetical order by last name would be nice
Done.
The players are now sorted by last name.
So, if the player gets offered and doesn’t accept…does the team who sign them lose their draft pick? Right? But if the player doesn’t get offered, no draft pick lost?
To your first question, yes only in the case of Type A. Second question, correct regardless of Type.
This site never goes to sleep, does it?
Awesome effort 24/7!
Just wait until you see what happens and how awesome this site is during the winter meetings…Here’s a clue, don’t sleep!
no doubt the jays offer arb to all their players, frasor is the only question mark, but the jays presidents philosophy is that there is no such thing as a bad 1 year deal. and with the lack of bullpen help 1 year of overpaid frasor is worth the risk of him accepting vs losing 2 picks.
Where is Felipe Lopez? Did I miss something regarding his situation? I was under the impression that he was a Type B
Where are guys like Hinske, Delcarmen and Okajima?
Saito is listed as a Tye A on the FA list, but he’s not on the tracker.
I like ordering the list by their Elias points so I can see who trumps who in terms of compensation but i got that on my own list. might be something to consider on future lists though.
Saito was left off because he could not contractually be offered arbitration. Elias points would not be a bad addition.
AH! gotcha.
