Couple of quick comments on Overbay–1) As bad as his start was, he’s been the Jay’s best hitter over the last 3 weeks. 2) Overbay isn’t even really known for offence anyway. His contract is nothing special, but isn’t anything huge either, and is nothing that a team in contention couldn’t grab to have a lefty bat coming off the bench, but more importantly to have a really good glove to take over and play first in the 8th or 9th as the Red Sox used to do with Meintkiewicz.
