Kevin Millar has signed with the St. Paul Saints, according to a press release from the team. Millar began his career with the Saints in '93 before the Marlins purchased his contract. He'll presumably still work for the MLB Network as an analyst this year.
Millar was signed by the Cubs to a minor league deal in February, but released in March. He posted a solid .274/.358/.452 line in 12 big league seasons for the Marlins, Red Sox, Orioles, and Blue Jays. Millar banked about $20MM along the way, according to Baseball Reference.

This guy just doesn’t give up.

He just loves baseball… and I’m assuming he’s trying to get back to the majors as well… Don’t think it’ll happen (he won’t be any good if he does make it back).
Better to see this kind of player than puss-guts like Carlos Zambrano saying that they’ll retire after his contract is up… when he’ll be about 31 years old.

Carlos Zambrano might just not want to play anymore? How does that make him a coward? He’s racked up some money. I wouldn’t mind retiring at age 31 with over $100MM.

That is what I was implying… That he only cares about money… Not baseball… Never said he was a coward… I said he was a pussgut

Kevin Millar is a lot of fun to watch, in any situation.
As an analyst, even.
