He didn’t answer my question well I’ll ask here who think the Yankees might have a chance of signing Pujols and C.J
ARodinyourPujols
Both of them? I honestly don’t know if they will get one of them let alone both.

Tom had the best question ever.

Jimbo
haha I remember when you were so bullish on Rich Hill when he was coming up with the Cubs, Tim.

Yeah. Those ads do suck. They have gotten longer too. They used to be like 15 seconds. Now they are about 30.

Two things: First, why the hell do the Dodgers get rid of one of the two only non offensive challenged guys on the team? To get rid of Andre would mean getting rid of the only type of balance in the lineup. Is he bad in the media when angry? Yea, absoluetley. Do you get rid of one of the only types of protection that Kemp has when you already can’t score? No.
2nd, why would the Dodgers ever trade Kershaw? Ever? He is 23 and is already deep in competition for the CY young. And honestly, statistically, he probably should win it. Will he, probably not because Roy is on the Phillies, but Kershaw has a definite case. There is nothing that would provide more value to the Dodgers, imo, especially when you factor in contract and control
ARodinyourPujols
To answer both questions, money. It all has to do with how much those 3 particular players are going to cost and how little money the Dodgers are able to spend at the moment.

The question you have to ask is how much do the Dodgers lose by getting
rid of Andre. Not only production, but ticket sales, lack of wins(more
so) because of no offense, etc.
Kershaw is even more valuable.
Cost controlled, dominate, reason to go to the park, media attention,
and homegrown left handed ace at age 23. The last two of those for the
dodgers? Koufax and Fernando
