I’ll bet most of them end up in spring training with the Indians next year.
And several of them will win sizeable parts on the team.
I am not going to lie. I thought the same thing about Scott Richmond. But, that was after thinking, why would he leave an organization (Blue Jays) that had one of the worst pitching records in major league baseball. I guess Indians not having the same level of prospects differentiates the two situations.
Board Member 1: I’ve never heard of half of these guys and the ones I do know are way past their prime.
Charlie Donovan: Most of these guys never had a prime.
No! not scott richmond!
Jiminy Crickets! Dan Wheeler is still playing?
He got 3m out of Boston last year w/an option as recall that Boston declined (wisely) and ended up with just a MiLB deal with ST invite to Cleveland.
he looked like toaster streudal with Boston even.
I want something decent this offseason. I filled in pretty well I thought with Astros this year.
Well, “you” had a good June.
many of the players named here in this article will not be playing baseball in 2013. some of the names i recognize. they just could not cut the mustard in the major leagues. it would seem the best thing for them is to become coaches or some type of instructors in baseball or just flat out retire.
Randy Wells is available ?!! Quick, Theo – he had a great season, like not even 4 years ago! All he needs is a change of scenery! Oh wait….
Pretty low standard for a “great” season, haha.
Never mind these hacks, I need more Wily Mo Pena updates.
Looks like a fine expansion team roster right there.
