• The Orioles have outrighted Brad Bergesen to Triple-A, reports Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. The 26-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment last weekend after pitching to a 5.13 ERA with 4.6 K/9 and 3.5 BB/9 in 33 1/3 innings for Baltimore’s Triple-A affiliate this season.

Bergesen appears to be a candidate for a waiver claim given his age, flexibility, and the fact that he has a minor league option remaining.

Emilio Bonifacio and Anibal Sanchez of the Marlins are the only players to win arbitration hearings so far in 2012.
